Pool & Hot Tub Filter Bio Cleaner

Ahh-Some Pool & Hot Tub Filter Cleaner can be use to clean all types of Pool or Spa and Hot tub filters. Ahh-Some
Pool & Hot Tub Filter Cleaner is a very efficient chemical that is loaded with cleansers and de-greasers to get the job
done quickly. Here is all you have to do.

Filter Cartridges or DE Grids:

Mix 2 teaspoons of Ahh-Some Pool & Hot Tub Filter Cleaner in a 4 or 5-gallon pail
of water. Stir the gel so it dissolves. You will see foam. This is normal. Soak the filter cartridge(s) or grid(s) in the
solution for about 30 minutes, longer if real old and very dirty. Keep them submerged in the solution or turn them
in the pail so the entire filter gets a soaking. Remove filter(s) from the solution and hose off using only a little
pressure. You will see foam that will dissipate in a matter of minutes. This is normal. That’s it! You will find that
the thousands of crevices and navigable pores throughout the cartridge(s) or grid(s) are now opened. Your filter
pressure should drop and the water flow returning to your pool or spa will be stronger. It is ok to pour the leftover
Ahh-Some Pool & Hot Tub Filter Cleaner and water on the ground without causing any problems. There are no acids
in the mixture. On extremely dirty cartridges or grids you may have to use a little more gel to do the job
thoroughly.

Sand Filter:

Ahh-Some Pool & Hot Tub Filter Cleaner is absolutely fantastic when used to clean a sand filter and
the suction line(s). Whether your filter media is Sand or Zeolite, you can be rest assured that Ahh-Some Pool & Hot
Tub Filter Cleaner works. Here’s what you do. In filters that have 50-125# of sand (media) add 2 teaspoons (1/2
ounce) to a gallon of water. Mix it thoroughly by stirring (takes 1 minute or less). Begin backwashing your filter and
pour the gallon of cleaning compound into the pool skimmer slowly taking about 1 minute to finish the gallon.
Watch the green, brown, black scum and debris that is leached from your suction line and filter media onto the
ground. You may repeat this process if you were still purging scum & gunk after the cleaner finished going through
the system. If your sand or Zeolite media is over 125# you should add 3 teaspoons of the cleaning gel to 1 or 2
gallons of water, mix it thoroughly, and add it through the skimmer while the filter is back-washing. After all the
liquid has been added through the skimmer it is important that you put the filter selector valve on the Rinse mode
for about 30 seconds. This will ensure that all the gunk and debris are removed from the filter and valve head.

Important: You will see some foam. This is normal. It will dissipate in a matter of minutes. Look at how clean
the skimmer is where you poured the Ahh-Some Pool & Hot Tub Filter Cleaner into. Wipe away any residues and
your skimmer housing and basket should be clean as a whistle. Perform this cleaning as periodically or as needed.
